The Trackpad Desktop is the heart of the Trackpad Control System, where data from both the carrier at the door, and the courier in your office, download package delivery. Here too, data transfer and reconciliation occurs, reports are generated, and package flow is pin-pointed.

Standard features of Trackpad

  • A smart-search data entry field, which displays the appropriate name after a few letters are entered, speeds up the initial log-in and delivery process.

  • Wireless data transfer using infrared (IrDA) eliminates need of plug-in or connection.
  • Package search function allows for immediate, pin-point location as well as detailed package flow and package detail reporting.
  • Five fully customizable fields permit maximum flexibility for list detail.
  • Convenient on-line help for both desktop and handheld software.

Trackpad Handheld

At the time of arrival at the door, parcels from the outside package carrier are inbounded in the mail center, and the data is downloaded to the Trackpad Desktop, or scanned in using the Trackpad Handheld, or both.

After sortation, mail center couriers carry this light and portable tracking tool to capture an individual signature at the time of desk delivery.

Delivery data is then downloaded to the Control System via wireless data transfer.
